Steering Committee
This committee is responsible for establishing leadership of the Council this committee is chaired by the Prevention Council Chair.
Education, Training and Public Awareness Committee
This committee is responsible for developing and implementing a coordinated plan for domestic and sexual violence prevention and education throughout the community. It also promotes public awareness of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault within Livingston County.

Sexual Violence Committee
This committee is responsible for developing a state of the art response to sexual violence within Livingston County. This committee is also responsible for creating a referral plan for sexual violence.
Goals: |

1. Create a coordinated process for community organizations
to respond to sexual violence. |
2. Implement process and referral plan. |
Youth Perpetrators Committee
This committee will establish a system response to youth who are abusive to family members in Livingston County.
Goals: |

1. Evaluate existing response to youth domestic violence. |
2. Evaluate existing resources for referral and treatment. |
3. Create a recommendation regarding response and referral. |
Evaluation Committee
This committee is responsible for developing a monitoring and evaluation plan for the Prevention Council effort. This committee will also be responsible for reviewing community response to domestic violence and sexual assault and also the impact of the Council's efforts.
